I would like to offer 233 collocation error detection rules. Some of them are based on the errors listed in this document: PDF of common collocation errors
The rules do not follow the usual conventions of LT’s XML code in that they are missing some of the usual tags (example, short, url, etc.). I am lazy that way. I hope you will accept them anyway. I will post them in chunks as this forum stops me from posting them all at once.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for your contribution. The <example> is required for us to accept rules, as it’s used in automatic tests. <url> and <short> are indeed optional.
Many thanks Bokomaru. The logic of the rules seems good.
I attach a text file with those. I had to call it .html because the forum does not accept .txt (at least with my permissions). Open it as a text file in notepad/gedit or any other text editor you use. In the browser I guess it won’t work.
I fixed a few problems, including the example line. This was automated, so<example> still needs to have<marker> tags added and proper suggestion placed inside correction=' '.
This should save you some time editing.
By now most rules are already integrated. They were a major contribution, as you can see in the changelog.
If you have more rules in the same development state that you want to contribute, just post them. I will try to review them and integrate them gradually in the coming months.
That’s great news! Thanks for helping fix up the rules. LT is important to me, and so I want to help out if I can.
As for more rules, I do have many more to share. Let me see what I can dig up. Would you prefer I post them as preformatted text or attach them as an HTML file?
Best wishes,
Nick
P.S. Please, call me Nick. Bokomaru is just a username.
In the internet, I never know if people prefer the alias. Apologies for that.
We are the ones to thank you.
If they compile, it would be better to add them via git, so credit for your contributions remains in the git log.
Anyway, I am adding a line with credits to every rule, so, if it is too much work, or if the rules are not fully compliant with testrules, you can post them here. If it is in an HTML file, then the better.
